Introduction
We strive to protect your privacy when you register as a member of our Loyalty Club or otherwise use our digital services. Placewise Promenade Global is the Data Controller for the personal data you provide, and we store and process personal data according to Personal Data Acts and Regulations. Lawfulness of processing We process your personal data when you register as a member of our Loyalty Club and give your consents to having your personal data processed for the purposes you have consented to. Our privacy policy describes how we process your personal data and what your rights are as a registered member. The content of our privacy policy may be changed, and changes will be published on our website or in our mobile applications. We will notify you in case of significant changes. You may at any time cancel your membership in our loyalty club, or withdraw your consents in part or in full. Boostcom AS is responsible for the technical solutions for data processing. Boostcom AS is one of our partners and Data Processors. Boostcom AS has a Data Protection Officer, whom you may contact by sending an e-mail to privacy@placewise.com Boostcom AS uses sub-contractors for storing data and technical solutions for sending SMS and emails. Our Data Processors handle your personal data in accordance with our instructions. We require our data processors to ensure necessary measures in order to handle your personal data in a secure manner, including not sharing your data with other parties without your consent. What personal data do we collect? We collect personal data regarding your membership in our Loyalty Club and when you use our other digital services.
Collected data may include: - mobile number, - name, - date of birth, - gender, - address, - email address, - your children’s age, - interests and - any other data you provide, or that we may access through your subscription to newsletters/SMS. We may use number lookup to ease your registration. You are responsible for correcting any errors or incorrect data stored with your mobile number. In addition we collect and process behavioural data related to your use of coupons and other statistics based on your usage of our apps or other services.
If the Loyalty Club contains a bonus program, we also collect and process your bonus program history (earned points). If the bonus program is based on purchases, we also collect and store your transaction history. When you use our digital services such as apps, website and coupons, we collect and process your IP address, browser and operating system type, approximate location and which website you visited before entering our website. Use of our digital services is logged for statistical analysis purposes. We only collect the personal data we consider to be necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing, and we aim to make sure the data is up to date and correct. What is the data used for? The main purpose for collecting your personal data is to ensure necessary basis for calculating or offering your member bonus or discounts in the Loyalty club. In addition your personal data is collected and processed in order to give you the best possible member service, i.e. tailoring the membership to you and your preferences. We customize member offers, member information, website, apps, digital communication and our other services and benefits offered to you. Customization and tailoring is done by analyzing the personal data you have provided in combination with e.g. past usage of member offers. We use this data together with our segmentation models when we send you campaign offers. If you do not consent to us using your personal data for personalizing offers, you will only receive general campaign offers. Your personal data and the collected information will be used to customize and send campaign offers to you through e-mail and/or your mobile phone, depending on which communication channels you have signed up for. In order to present you with relevant offers we may also collect and use analytical data if you have consented to such. We may also collect personal data from our partners, e.g. Bisnode, TNS Gallup and Boostcom. You may at any time unregister from our Loyalty Club and withdraw your consent to receive marketing and campaign offers. For how long is your personal data stored? Your personal data is only stored as long as it is required for us to provide our services to you, or as defined by law. As long as your membership exists your registered data will be kept. When you opt-out of the Loyalty club, your personal data will be deleted. Anonymized data (which cannot be connected to you as an individual, and hence is no longer personal data) may be kept for statistical purposes. What are your rights?
